NAPLES, Fla. – A hotbed of skill talent is at Naples High School and Louisville is all over the Golden Eagles rising stars. One of the unknown players ready for a big junior season this fall is Ebenezer Bouzi. Bouzi received an offer from the Cardinals on Jan. 27 and has been visited on his Naples campus by Louisville’s coaching staff.
“One of their coaches was here earlier today (Friday); he was checking me out and letting me know that he wants me up there soon,” Bouzi said. “Louisville was my first offer, and I am glad to have it. I’m blessed.”
Bouzi shared what the Cardinals are seeing in their 2024 target.
“They like my length, how long I am and how quick I am,” Bouzi stated. “They like how explosive I am on the field. They watched my highlights, they told me they liked how quick I am.”
A date has not been set, but Naples’ head coach Rick Martin is setting up a trip to Louisville for his players this summer. Bouzi is ready to see the campus and facilities getting a feel for the Cardinals’ program.
“When I go up there, I am looking for a school where I am cool with the coaches and like the environment,” Bouzi said.
