Another LPT graduate...surprise. And she worked for the U of L Foundation while Ramsey was in charge. But that appears to be OK in this case.

Didn't take long to re-spend Mark Jurich's salary. I wonder if she'll bring in $80 million like he did.

Yard-Mouth is the reason the new bridge is a Toll Bridge, and Everyone's Health Insurance has Sky Rocketed since the passage of O-Bumble Care!!!

Ann Northrup had secured almost $500,000,000.00 for the downtown bridge till John and his East End Cronies kept filing BS Law Suites...Our elected officials in Frankfort...Controlled by the Demon-Craps at the time, and Gov Beshears, used that money to repair roads out in the state...Since it was Federal Funds for Roadway Improvements, they got away with spending the money!!!

Health Insurance went up Substantionally for Every Honest Hard Working American/Kentuckian, so they could give Free Health Care to Illegal Aliens (Criminals) for Votes, and Lazy Modern Day Slaves (Wel-Fare Recipients)...That was/is for votes as well!!!

Keep voting for Demon-Craps and this state and city will end up like California, Illinois, and New Jersey, and cities like Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, San Francisco etc...And the Next Greece!!!

I can't believe the number of Dumb@$$@$ there are out there that vote for a party, and Not the Issues that affect us...All Of Us...John Kennedy would have left the Demon-Crappy Party if he hadn't been assassinatted...Ronald Reagan did, and he Implemented Policies that Kennedy Wanted!!!

Cant stand that jackass Yarmuth...Northup had everything secured for a new VA Center, the Bridges with no tolls, and other incentives that would of benefited all of Metro Louisville. Cant get him out until the folks inside 264 to vote another candidate. I will support Glisson, just to get Yarmuth out. My question...what has Yarmuth done for the 3rd District? I think the basic sediment of Cards Nation is that we need a clean slate for the University, the Athletic program and the BOT. No Postel, No Tyra, No Schnatter, etc.

Here's the thing...even if I wanted to (and I enjoy doing research on issues to drive an informed decision, I advocate that to all my friends and family when it comes to voting whether we vote the same way or not) digging into facts would do nothing here.

It's the simple tone that is the concern and I've said it before: We are losing the ability to have a civil discussion. Coming to the table calling one side "Demons" and referring to people as Modern Day Slaves out of the gate pretty much informs me that you are not going to want to consider counterargument on a fair basis. We have to be willing to respect one another first and foremost on the basis of having at least a conversation even if we don't agree with them.

I'm happy to say I've registered with one party my whole life but have voted for candidates on both sides (and independents) (and it's not like 90/10...more like 60/40).

If you want to have an honest, civil, and respectable conversation I welcome that here.

He does donate his annual salary to charities across the Commonwealth, which has now totaled over $1M throughout the years.

Great...Im sure it has nothing to due with the fact that he is a Multi-Millionaire. But that is good he donates to charities. I just think...whether you agree with me or not, because its a free country...that he could do his donating as a private citizen, not representing Jefferson County...just saying.

Bouncing around between multiple site locations as it has been for years. I would think that the effing senate majority leader would have more ability to achieve something on this front than a congressman - why aren’t you bitching to McConnell?

No new hospital is needed IMO and certainly not off of Brownsboro road. Any new facility should be downtown near the other hospitals.

I have a major problem with McConnell...he is a fraud and a whussy. And Yes, I complained to him...but he was the minority leader at the time and a gutless wonder.

It really is amazing that in every other situation of the last 20 years that had even in an ancillary tie to the federal government, whatever McConnell supported is what happened but somehow in this situation he’s outdone by a freshman congressman?

Seems dubious at best.

Definently...but I did research last night and 2004 Northup and Baron Hill had secured close to 800 million in State and Federal funding. The projected cost at the time for the bridges was 2.5 Billion. The problem was that Yarmuth was part of Riverfield filed a series of lawsuits that delayed progress. Of course, politics being what they are...part of the group that supporting this lost their elections. Yarmuth stuck with Riverfields until election time...quit...the changes his position. So, after Yarmuth took office...I don't remember doing anything with the bridges or the VA. The bridges finally got built at the state level.

I call it like I see it! Since the 60's...After Kennedy was shot...The Liberal, Progressive, Socialist Wing of the Democratic Party has Destroyed it!!!

It was that Party that started the KKK...Was/Is responsible for Jim Crow...Wanted the Extinction of the African American Race through Sterilization, or Abortion (and that was in the early to mid 1900's)...Yet that party has laid the blame for those things at the feet of the Republican Party...So yeah...I see that party as a party full of Demons!!!

Their tactics since Johnson became President has been, and continues to be, divide this country by race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, social and economic standing etc...The Charter they rewrote in the mid 60's is a basic carbon copy of the Communist Manifesto...Take over all government agencies, press, education, healthcare, banking and finance...Pitt races against each other...Poor against the rich (at the expense of the middle class), to make us all equal in economic and social standing, dependent upon a centralized government!!!

Both Parties SUCK, that's why I'm an Independent...And I do my research and vote for the person that is closest to my convictions...Now...Those are the FACTS...Care to discuss them!?!?!?

McConnel is as much a Waste as John McCain is...Neither are Worthy of my vote...I don't vote party or ticket...I vote my belief and convictions...And that means the Democrat, Independent or Republican that is closest to them!!!

You are correct sir. I was a JFK supporter. However, I am now a registered Republican. I am a constitutionalist and have by military service have sworn my life to protecting it. JFK did the same. If he were alive in 2018, he would be a Republican, also. Democrats know how to raise taxes, blame others and get nothing done! Yarmuth does nothing but talk and blame! We need people in congress, who put America and its Constitution and welfare first! Not thier personal welfare before the citizens. Again Yarmuth takes care of Yarmuth!
