I’ll start by explaining the Data, I have included all of the CURRENT P4 schools including Notre Dame and excluding Oregon St and Washington State. The data I took was HS kids taken in the 23’ and 24’ classes.

To kick things off the we will start with conference averages over the past 2 years. ACC classes have averaged 20.2 kids per class the past 2 years. SEC: 23.06, B10: 21.61 (this was tanked by UCLA who has taken 12.5 kids the past 2 classes), and last but not least B12: 19.625. All 68 P4 teams averaged 21.15 kids per class. Louisville averaged 16.5.

20/68 schools averaged less than 20 Hs kids per class, majority were right on the cusp at 18.5 or more. Only 7/68 schools have taken on less kids than Louisville. So sorry. Not 98/2% but 89/11%. Those 7 teams ARE Boston college, SMU, Cal, Indiana, UCLA, UCF, and Kansas. Is that the pool of schools you want to be associated with?

Everyone feel free to ask questions. The numbers will be a little skewed because I think this staffs magic number is 15. The 23’ class was at 18. If 15 is their number that would be the 3rd lowest in the country behind SMU and UCLA
