It might be very wet, thanks to the remnants of TS Gordon. Not being able to run on Alabama is very, very different from running on Indiana State. We need to run the ball, not turn it over, and get a little macho going. Improve every week.

Even in dry weather, we would run against Indiana St because we can. Why throw the ball if you dont need to.

Football is a five dimensional sport! Each dimension is equally import. To win they all have to work on a team. And penalties can kill every dimension. I think the five dimensions are:

1. Running Game
2. Passing Game
3. Kicking Game (Field Goals and Punting)
4. Defense
5. Special Teams

All are equally important. However, we have not had the complete package under Bobby Ball 2.0. We only have to look at Alabama and Clemson to see teams that have the complete packages.

So I ask my fellow Card Fans, what is it going to take for Bobby to develop the complete package at Louisville? And much longer is it going to take? I am concerned that this year is year five and the complete package has not been put together! So how much longer can we wait? I say his time has about run out!

Out of your dimensions I would say
1 needs work
2 strong point
3 strong point
4 appears to be improving
5 weak spot for us, hopefully that improves

They will all look good tomorrow but level of opponent makes it pointless other than a confidence builder. I dont think we will know where we stand until our ACC games start. Our next big test will be end of the month against FSU.

I agree. I hope we are improved, but "I am from Missouri", so show me Bobby!

I am fine with a strong running game. More runs means a quicker game, no sense being out in the rain any longer than I need to be, plus the players could use an injury free game after getting dinged up last week.

CBP 1.0 offense was very balance. He usually ran and threw for about the same amount of plays. The running game needs to be effective and for that matter so does the passing game to keep the defenses guessing. We haven’t had an effective running game if you don’t include LJ.

You are spot on and Alabama had the 50/50 balance and look how they keep us confused!

Back to the forecast discussion, anyone considering not going because of the high percentage of rain and possibility of severe/delays?

I’m still coming down from Ohio. Not like it’s going to be a cold rain. Hopefully storms will be done by game time so no delay in start.

I was referencing tonight’s game with the rain. Running is the most effective way to win, The same type of weather when we bashed Cinci back with CBP 1.0.
