Had a meeting this morning with a Notre Dame alum (who also graduated from UofL) and learned about some of the various activities Notre Dame will be hosting over Labor Day weekend.

It sounds like we should expect a flood of Irish fans coming to Louisville. They have rented 4th Street Live for an official pep rally, they've rented the KY Derby Museum for their Alumni Tailgate, they've contacted UofL about the possibility to buy more tickets. Of course, there's a mass planned, but I was surprised there's even a service project taking place!

Clemson was pretty organized and mobile when they visited, but this is by far the most engagement I've seen in our city from a visiting team.

With this type of support and infrastructure, its clear to see why Notre Dame is always near the top of the list for Bowl Committees.
