Hard truth right now...

OL and DL just not good enough against high end competition.
DL is fine but the OL just doesn't have a identity yet. With three different QB's there just hasn't been any rythem

If we had 1st and 20 it would take a miracle to get a 1st down much less a TD. There just isn't any fire in this Cards team. I think the entire group including the coaches are just in shock how the season has gone. There just isn't any excuse for the lackluster offense in this game. I would almost rather see us run the ball 75 percent of the time at this point. Nobody on offense is taking control.

I have no idea what I am watching right now. 0-3 is looming large!

Not sure how anyone could be satisfied with the DL. They've made a couple of plays but generally getting run over.

I'm tired of the multiple QBs excuse for the o-line. That might excuse false starts and snap problems, but not lack of blocking.
Agreed. The have been abused in every game so far. If a RB gets thru the line a LB should be there waiting and that's just not happening. DBs are five yards from just about every receiver. And tackling is just sad.

The hard truth is Petrino just doesn't trust any of the QB's. Is Gardner still injured? Might as well give him a chance. It's starting too look like a Kragthorpe season. The offense has not looked this inept since as way back as the Ron Cooper days. Just never would have believed something like this could happen. Sports can be so maddening sometimes.

Not sure why you would think he doesn't trust Bolin. Started and played most of the game outside of a few special package situations for Jackson.
Trust just doesn't mean playing time. Obviously Gardner is still not ready to play or he would have been in there. Bolin wasn't very creative with the passing plays. It was pretty much the same kind of passing plays. It was in desperate mode that he started throwing short passes. Maybe Petrino trusts him to throw vertical passes down the field but not mush of anything else.

Clemson ran that sideline slant/jet sweep all night and we never did stop it. This defense is just a step slower than last year. The O line is too young to pick up blitzes. Clemson is just better. We improved last night-we can turn this around with a LOT of reps. Bright spots with Samuel and the receivers. Bolin needs to stay as the starter. We have solid interior defensive guys, the edge guys need recognition and better positioning. Like it or not anything over .500 is a win this year-we cant overlook anybody.
