Grantham: No changes to defense starting lineup

I am very surprised that there will not be any changes to the starting lineup this week on defense. When the head coach acknowledges that effort was lacking from some individuals, I would expect those individuals to lose their starting job at least for the week.

That can't be right. Brown has to sit out 1st half for targeting and did Kelsey get cleared to play from concussion protocol?

One thing that has been overlooked I think. Yes we had a meltdown on d in 2nd half but 1st half we have been the only team to keep FSU from scoring a TD. Something was going right...

Kelsey has been cleared to play, which is huge for us vs BC. I guess Keith Brown was technically the starter, but he and Trevon Young have been very interchangeable.

Not surprised. I'd like to see Dee Smith get some playing time but I didn't figure he would get a start in such a pivotal game.

Chucky Williams has been guilty of lazy tackling all year.

I guess some of us were hoping to see Devonte Fields get set down for a game. Hopefully he has some pride and will give max effort.

I really hope they are sure Kelsey is good to go if they are going to put him out there. I care a lot more about his health and future than I do a game. I trust the staff hoping for the best for him too.

I think the starters are getting their "last shot" so to speak - I believe each player is on watch, other than Rankins and maybe a few others. There is a lot on the line Saturday let's hope the guys that showed up vs NC St and Clemson show up.
