I’m in the solid B+ range because CCM and his staff have started rebuilding the foundation of UofL basketball and going forward our recruiting has and will continue to grow. Plus they are doing it the right way...

That’s the biggest albatross around the athletics program. Quite frankly it saps my enthusiasm for basketball because I’m concerned when the next hammer drops.

Yeah when you have a coach on tape saying "We have to keep this on the downlow because we're on probation because of strippers" you have to assume that a bigger hammer is coming.

I think the only thing that might save us is that University got rid of all the ones involved including Jurich and Ramsey.

I can't find anyone including people in this space staying away from U of L athletics because of the prior regime.

Well I think there are “reasons” for less attendance at football and basketball. Football’s miserable performance had something to do with that situation; however, the new tax laws have had an effect also. Plus I believe there is some of just being tired of scandals.

The issue isn't simply people not attending games, it's the main reason(s) WHY. No one I talk to skips a game because of the prior regime. That's a shallow excuse to protect the new guys. And it makes no sense...

My expectations weren't "that much" lower than yours. You had them on the right side of the bubble, I had them a few more losses on wrong side of the bubble. I had them kind of where Clemson ended up. I never said they'd be holding hands with WF or Tech.

B is a good grade.

I know one dam thing it seems like an eternity since i last celebrated wins in the tourney. I long for the weekened games jumping for joy winning and moving on to the next game. Man it sucks watching these teams celebrate in the locker room moving on to the sweet 16 and further. Thanks RICK!
