I remember when it was first proposed he go pro and he said he is not sure he wants to go pro now. I agree we could of had back to back titles.

It was best move for him to go pro. Too much risk of injury and he wouldn't have been picked much higher with another year.

I recall Gorgui stating his goals was to make the NBA a 10+ year career. He saw that being more important than the hype of being an attention getting high pick. His focus was on being prepared to play a long time instead of a 3-4 bust.

Dieng will easily get a 5-year $60M contract to be a 2nd team center or PF based on his play in Minnesota. Him and KAT are pretty good starting tandem.
