R J Hunter got hot when it counted most. Hunter, the team's leading scorer and potential NBA draft pick, was quiet for most of the game. He had two points at halftime on only four shot attempts. But with Georgia State down 12 with 2:39 to go, Hunter came alive. He made the game-winning 3-point shot from way beyond the arc with 2.6 seconds left to give the Panthers the 57-56 upset of No. 3 seed Baylor. Hunter scored 12 points in the closing minutes to put his team on his back. Easy to see why he has a decision to make when the season ends about his NBA future. His dad, coach Ron Hunter, fell out of his chair in celebration.
