Obviously the defense is a disaster. And somehow Riley got absolutely annihilated by a freshman receiver. So all that needs to get fixed.

I’m concerned about Brohm’s game mismanagement because it takes him looking in the mirror to fix that. He seems to get impatient with his play calling. We could’ve ran the ball down their throats instead we chuck it deep seemingly inexplicably. And when you have undisciplined play then ultimately that is a failure of the head coach.

We aren’t using in-helmet communication effectively and apparently sometimes not at all.

I sat behind the bench and saw little energy on the sideline. The team seemed really disinterested.

We are 17th in recruiting in the ACC. You can’t rely on transfer to build a roster. You use transfers to fill out a roster.

They were scoreboard watching. Notice the difference in play once Pittsburgh lost. It was easy to see. They had 0 playoff aspirations once Pitt lost.

Brohm sucked today. He blew it. The players blew it, too. So did everyone else. Total crapping of the pants. So much opportunity and momentum lost, because of coaching.

I really hate to agree but that's what it looked like to me. Several times I was questioning what he was doing as the play caller. There's just no consistency with it and appears to be ass backwards in the 4th quarter.

How do we judge Jeff Brohm? As a HC or an OC?

As a HC, his players are not disciplined and his defensive coaches are not improving.

As a OC, he's not been very good at all. Where is the creative play calling? No screens today or reverses and very little misdirection. He calls pass plays when it should be runs and vice versa. Not everytime but way too many times.

I think doing both jobs, hinders both jobs.

Head coach should, must be involved in the total game, phases of the game. You can't be walking around with your offensive playlist. You have to be totally focused, observing those on the field of play. English coaches better with someone on his shoulder and on his a--.

Jack of all trades, and Master of none…..

This is not the Brohm I remember.

He would have been up some asses with some of that showboating, hey-look-at-me crap.

But… you can’t coach like that anymore. Someone would be offended.

Last year is looking like a lot of lucky breaks until the end of season meltdown.

IMO, a win over uk is now MANDATORY for him to get any slack.

And now? I’m not holding my breath.

If things go like most places, now that we’ve screwed away a very good bowl, we’ll probably see some “opt outs”.
