It seems like this 3 guard could lineup could be effective in certain situations. Mack went with it against BC. CCM also said he would continue to utilize Curry and Malik together depending on matchups.

I like West and his defense but he's just too limited offensively and athletically at times. Not saying there will be a magic turnaround for this team by changing lineups but if Mack can find the right rotation of players it make some games smoother.

I understand the players have been up and down. The staff has been shuffling the lineup way too much and there's blame to go around for that. Really should have a set lineup and rotations at this point in a season. I understand there can be some matchups that might require a different look. If you want to have some kind of cohesion the roster needs to know who is starting who is coming in off pine for who and have some sort of idea of how much each player is going to play. I know the problems are bigger than this. It's one thing to get a guy that's maybe the 9th or 10th man to come in randomly and put up a good game and give a team a lift. But it's another thing entirely when you don't even know who the 9th or 10th man is, or who is starting, etc.

Since they won last out with this lineup I imagine they run it back Saturday. I think ND probably presents some challenges that will force Mack to play guys that can guard multiple positions, so we could see some different looks compared to last out vs BC.

Maybe the guys can start playing off Syd a little bit and play with more structure.
