donnie Tyndall, ex Southern Miss coach was hit with 10 year show cause for academic and unethical violations. Southern Miss got three years probation in addition to the two year self imposed post season ban. NCAA did not tack on any more postseason bans. They will forfeit wins in which ineligible players played and will also get a reduction in scholarships as well as a fine. Tyndall produced false documents and tried to deceive the investigation. Investigation has been going on since Oct 2014 so you can see why U of L wants the process expedited.
