I have heard from several different media types that we have never won a game in the state of California.
Obviously, that streak can either be snapped today, or extended. And last year, we got rolled by USC in San Diego in the Holiday Bowl (which I believe is our only bowl game in California).
But how many times have we actually played in California? How vaunted is this streak?
EDIT -- We tied San Jose State 10 - 10 in our Fiesta Bowl Season (thanks to Ted Washington blocking a last second FG). So this is part of that streak.
I think we snap that streak today. But I'm curious how big this really is.
