Two quarterback commits decided to recant their allegiance to Colorado following the Buffaloes’ loss to Utah Saturday. According to Hayes Fawcett with On3, running back Jamarice Wilder announced his decision to decommit from Colorado.
According to 24/7 Sports, Wilder is a three-star recruit for the 2025 class.
Wilder marks the third such decision in the previous 24 hours for the Buffaloes program.
The transfer portal could make or break the 2024 season for Colorado. Sanders said earlier this fall he wanted to replace his entire offensive line. He doesn’t have much help in that department with his 2024 commit list, so Sanders will need to pursue offensive linemen aggressively in the portal.
With the regular season over, players are announcing their intent to hit the portal. According to Fawcett, tight end Caleb Fauria entered the portal Monday.

Deion Sanders Asks Donors For More Money
Deion Sanders acknowledged that he thought the first year would be difficult but also called on the donors to help the program.Sanders is good at saying the quiet part out loud. Whether we like to admit it or not, in the NIL landscape, programs need money. It puts a lot of pressure on donors to open up their pockets. If Colorado is going to continue to improve, the program needs more money.“We definitely need ‘giving.’ You know what I mean," Sanders said. "It’s unfortunate to say this, but some kids cost… We can sit here and talk about great coaching and great this and great that all we want. But it’s going to be a credit card swipe with all these guys going to these playoffs. I understand that.”
