D. Mitchell is a budding star, D. Lee stepped up a crunch time, and Q made the FT's when they needed to be made. And Oanaku ruled the boards!

Kudos to Wake, they were a tough out.....but the Cards gutted this one out. Hats off!

Agree Wake has grown and shown they are a tough out. I continue to be impressed with Mitchell. He so talented, poised, and athletic. So glad to have him as a Card, and only a freshman as well.

Get this, that WF team is picked to finish 12th in the ACC. If that is anywhere near accurate, then this conference is freaking LOADED with talented teams. I am telling you right now that it's difficult to believe they're the 12th best team in the ACC. They're well coached and they play as hard as any team we've played this year.

This was a good win. I was a bit concerned about a hangover from the UofK game but that's not what happened. Coach had them ready to play or this would have been a loss. Hats off to Danny Manning. He's got that team headed in the right direction.

Wake Forest was really tough, they are a lot better than they were expected to be. They sure look like that have all the parts they need to be a good team, I don't know how they would be with injuries though. I thought we played a good game, our young players a really impressive but I am really glad CRP added Lee and Lewis to the roster because they will help this team grow.
