That's what I thought too. He got his bell rung hard enough for his helmet to come flying off. Thought the 3rd string guy did a good job.

A buddy of mine said Satterfield said post-game that Malik could’ve played but wanted to get the other kid snaps. So, no concussion?

Satt did say that and Malik did speak to the media after the game. That being said, they took away his helmet which is the universal sign for a concussion. I had a big concussion once in a game and there was no way he could’ve talked to the media if it were a big concussion. My guess is that it was a mild concussion.

He looked concussed when he was kneeling on the field after losing his helmet.

If it's a concussion he may not be cleared for a bit, hard to say.

Going into game 4, looks like UofL has more questions than answers at QB.
