The volleyball Cards won their Sweet 16 matchup at #2 Texas for their first trip to Elite 8 ever. In fact they had never won a set in a Sweet 16 match before tonight. This new coach Dani Busboom Kelly has taken the program to new heights.

Cards have drawn the #7 overall seed and #2 seed in the Texas regional for their regional final matchup. Minnesota took the first set 25-21. The match is being televised on ESPNU.
