I can't recall seeing this many P5 jobs being open and the season isn't even over yet. It is going to be interesting to see where the hires come from.

Early signing period has led to so many coaches getting axed early. It’s actually kind of nice for them because most of their buyouts don’t drop until mid to late December. Those pesky agents know how to squeeze out every nickel.
I do think the transfer portal can at least even out some of the issues of missing out on the early signing period. CSS would've had a much better year had he been able to get more transfers rather than just grad transfers.
