Coaches and sanctions

Here we go Rick retires walks away a multimillionaire only his reputation damaged. The players school and fans left with heartache. The program ruined for years and your not sure if it will return to prominence or when. Big sanctions on the horizon somewhere this picture doesn't set right ! NCAA why should the later happen ? And the main culprits walk away. Now granted the assistant coaches may or not ever coach again who knows! NCAA should require on it's coaches something like a deposit on their salary set up some type of pay scale . If a coach like Rick is to make 7 million a year require 20 percent of his salary held every year . So if a coach does what Rick has done you hit em in the pocket when they get a school in trouble. just like when you rent an apt tear it up at the end of lease they keep it.

Kind of an interesting idea and one I've never heard discussed. Might have potential. And if it was mandated, it wouldn't put a school at a competitive (dis)advantage...
