I had read that hilarity the other day and got a chuckle. Poor BBN, the world thinks almost exactly like UofL fans who are probably more forgiving, in the end, than those who voted in this poll. They will defend themselves and then write murderous, threatening letters to the sponsors of this abstraction, calling them obscene names, mauling their kids and family and just dying to see the writer give them the fanger. That would be a huge win for UK fans.
That makes sense to me. I guess what really irks me most about UofK fans is the lack of humility as they boast about their history which is stuffed full of sanctions, scandals, and under the table $100 handshakes when $100 was a lot of money. Show some humility and maybe people would view them a bit differently. The smug elitist attitude is what people dislike the most. Maybe that goes hand in hand with success for some. It doesn't have to.
If you were to include the NBA fans with those of football, you would closer resemble this college poll. This one combines the sports...........it makes UK's embarrassment that much more complete. Not that they know.
Absolutely! And Penn State fans weren't far behind them until the scandal broke.
