The Louisville men's basketball program is heading into the NCAA Tournament as a top-ten team in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll.

The Cardinals (27-7, 18-2 ACC) garnered 809 points in week 20 of the AP Top 25, rising from No. 13 last week to No. 10 this week.

#11 in the Coaches Poll.

It's a black eye on the committee and embarrassing. The rest of the T10 got seeded in order. It's hilarious to see 1-4 get the 1s, 5-8 get the 2s, #9 get the 3, and then #10 gets..... 8.

Once the NCAAT starts this will be forgotten. If Louisville loses it gives them fake cover. Outcome of game doesn't really change the seeding miss though.

Maybe all that media noise crying for Clemson @ the ACCT had impact. More than likely it was just corruption on to the next.

All you can do is laugh at these people and the entire charade. Sport is bleeding interest as is, not sure why they don't see the eyeballs in this area code and understand attendance #'s and viewership. Maybe they just know our fans take it and will still buy up all those tickets so mission accomplished.

They desperately want marquee matchups I hope they don't get any.

UL deserves its ranking; both AP and Coaches polls have consistently raised the Cards in accordance with their performance as well as the other teams, A top 10 or 11 team with an 8 seed further illuminates just how absurd the NCAA selection committee is.
