In Lunardi's most updated bracket he now has The Cards as a 2 seed (Kansas #1 in our region). Also, The Cards are #4 in RPI and #3 in SOS.
Sooooo.....We'll probably rise all the way up to #12 in the coaches poll this week!!! <SMH>.

If things continue to happen and we continue on this path playin wise, we (could) be a #1 seed by Selection Sunday, that of course means if we win the ACC tourney.

Things are looking up! Just gotta get both Snider and Hicks back 100%! Isn't there a rule that makes sure the Cards can't play Virginia until a certain stage (maybe Elite 8?) of the NCAA Tournament since they play twice in the regular season?

Edit: Looks like if the Cards play Virginia in the ACC tournament, then they can't meet until Elite 8 or later. Otherwise, both could play in a Sweet 16 game.

The polls are starting to matter. Late January and February is the time a team needs to show its worth.

This team is getting better in spite of (or maybe because of) the injuries. Hopefully everyone gets healthy for a nice deep run that extends into the month of April. This team has a chance to be special if they can get everyone back that is currently hurt.

Oh look....We destroy 3 out of our last 4 opponents while the Cayuts drop two in a row including to unranked Tn. and they are still ranked higher. Hmmmmm....sure didn't see that coming.

Even as a UK fan I agree with this - you guys have the same record, a better SOS, are ranked higher in Kenpom, higher RPI, and have a head to head win. Makes no sense.

I think we're a two or three seed when all is said and done. I'm hoping for better, but I think we'll be 27-7 entering the first round of the NCAA tourney.
