I read recently that Ballard won the LIT, after also winning the King of the Bluegrass Tournament earlier this season.
They appear to be led by underclassmen.
6'9" sophomore Maker Bar from South Sudan won the MVP of the LIT. He had a decent stat line in the championship game against Fern Creek. This is his first year of organized basketball, so his ceiling is high.
Freshman Jack Edelen led the Bruins in scoring, with 17 in the LIT Championship.
Any idea if these kids are on the radar of Chris Mack and staff??
Following Ray Spalding, David Johnson, Dwayne Sutton, and hopefully Jay Scrubb, could there be a resurgence in local talent in the Louisville area good enough to wear the Cards uniform?
