As far as the "home field" advantage in this game

We can start a new record at Kroger Field and it will be 1-0 Cards. Or roger Field? Whatever they call it.

Serious question, is it Kroger Field at Commonwealth Stadium? Or is it just Kroger Field, instead of Commonwealth Stadium now. I've asked a few UK fan buddies and they aren't even sure.

Cats fans tend to have selective memory. They remember everything about their BB, so they can recite to UL fans.

Heck forget about just the W-L record, lets look at all the stats in this game:

UofL: 9 - 4 vs. UK in games at Kroger Field
1994: 14-20 L
1995: 13-10 W
1996: 38-14 W

1997: 24-38 L
1999: 56-28 W
2001: 36-10 W
2003: 40-24 W
2005: 31-24 W

2007: 34-40 L
2009: 27-31 L
2011: 24-17 W
2013: 27-13 W
2015: 38-24 W

UofL: 5 - 5 vs. UK in games at PJCS
1998: 34-68 L
2000: 40-34 W OT
2002: 17-22 L
2004: 28-0 W
2006: 59-28 W

2008: 2-27 L
2010: 16-23 L
2012: 32-14 W
2014: 44-40 W

2016: 38-41 L

Beyond simply the W-L record, look at a few other things. UK's 2 biggest wins in the series are at PJCS (68-34 in 1998 and 27-2 in 2008). 2 of UofL's 4 biggest wins in the series are at Kroger Field (56-28 in 1999 and 36-10 in 2001). 2 of UK's 3 biggest upsets in the series are at PJCS (22-17 upset over UofL in 2002 and of course the 41-38 upset last year). UofL's 3 biggest upsets in the series came at Kroger Field (13-10 upset in 1995, 56-28 upset in 1999 and 24-17 upset in 2011).

Besides all that, UofL had a 4 game winning streak (1999, 2001, 2003 and 2005) at Kroger Field and is currently on a 3 game winning streak (2011, 2013, and 2015). UofL has never had more than a 2 game winning streak over UK at PJCS.

By almost any metric, this series seems to actually favor the road team. For whatever reason we actually play UK much better at Kroger Field and UK actually plays us much better at PJCS. So if history shows us anything not only should UK fans not feel comfortable about playing at home but we should feel very confident about the game Saturday.
