As a neutral observer you guys are getting screwed royally

Michigan just lost to a crap Iowa team. They don't have a win as impressive as Louisville crushing FSU.

What in the world
Louisville is still being treated like they're a non power 5 program. Their schedule strength is constantly mentioned despite having to play the same Atlantic division teams Clemson played. Their close wins against lesser foes are also constantly highlighted despite other top teams doing the same.

Michigan does have more top 25 wins but they just now played their first road game against a team with a winning record. Imagine how much that would be held against Louisville.

The sad fact is Louisville still needs a few more years of winning in the ACC before they are treated like a power 5 program. It's what college football is with or without a playoff.

Michigan is the one that bothers me. One loss to a 5-4 team that lost to an FCS school at home. Their schedule is 8 home games, 4 road games.

Yeah, they beat Colorado and Penn State.......... At home. Wonder how we would have fared against Clemson at home, along with 7 other home games?

Apparently winning the game is all that matters regardless where it is played. That's why Michigan is still #3.

If I'm not mistaken Iowa was 4-5 when we played them. So a team with a losing record. This whole thing is crazy stupid.

Barry Alvarez has bossed these guys 4 big10 teams in the top 10. Penn State got beat 49 to 10 by Michigan that loss alone you should not be top 10.

We aren't getting screwed in the sense the committee is keeping us at arms length. It's more like they are refusing to punish Michigan and Clemson for losing. Having said that, UofL's SOS isn't great. We are also a victim of our own success. After dismantling FSU and having a high scoring offense, I think everyone (including the committee) is expecting blood baths every game. That's just not realistic. These 30+ point spreads are hurting us. Last week, UofL was favored by 33.5. They won by 32. Didn't cover. People notice.

Seven of our nine wins are by 30 or more points. Not impressed? One reason they pick on our schedule. Also scored 36 in our only loss. We have the #1 offense, #6 defense in the country. Not impressed? We also have no 5 star athletes coming out of high school. Not impressed? Oh, were not in the big10 or sec, my bad.

I don't have any problem with either Michigan or OSU being in at this point. Some of it is related to the putrid play of the sec west pretenders the last few weeks. That said, I have a real problem with people - like that idiot joey Galloway - saying that if Penn St. wins the B1G that they should be in the four. Beaten by an unranked Pitt? Crushed by 39 at Michigan? UofL got dinged for being down in the second half to WF - what about the fact that IU(?!?) had Penn St. on the ropes in the 4th quarter?

No way in the world is that team one of the four best and, ditto for Wisconsin.

If we win by 40, the schedule sucks (see Washington early)

If we win by less, we suck.

It's a Catch-22.

We can't win. The deck is stacked against us regardless the outcome of our games.

Its subjective, but I would bet that had we beaten Clemson, that now after their loss to Pitt, we would STILL be getting gigged for our schedule.

Wins over a 3 loss FSU and a 2 loss Clemson would not impress the committee.

We would still be a bubble team IMO. Regardless being a conf champ.

Sad but more and more obvious every day. Doubt that there is a easy solution to this other than we keep kicking everyone's frickin azz! We start Houston tonight!!!! :D
