Didn’t start off great as Purdue top player, Hudson, is going to UK. They do pay well 🙄
Watching the Chloe Ciccone situation. I really think that she would be a fantastic add to UofL’s roster. They need another high-quality, experienced hitter. I hope the incoming setter can really push Glock.

Well that's bad. Louisville cannot match NIL deals in SEC or B1G. Very sorry Cards didn't get her.

I looked at the average salary of a professional women’s volleyball player and it is very low. Wouldn’t it be more rewarding for a player to stay in college as long as possible and make more NIL money? If so why not try to retain some of the players we already have.

I think one of the problems is that there is no reliable source of NIL deals. For any sport. Or any player group or any conference.

I mean is it $500 per season for a field hockey player? $4,000,000 per season for a presumed FB Stud?

NIL stuff is both unregulated and unknown.

But, yes, the Professional VB salaries are just beginning to rise. So we don't know how high they'll go.

I am sure that is true. But, we don’t have anyone on the ‘stud’ category to try and retain. I am not too worried about players leaving.

For one I would try to keep Elena Scott. It would be funny if sUcK payed a VB player a lot of money with their football program turning into a dumpster fire.

Once again the Disney/ESPN influence with the SEC is the difference in our attracting Hudson to UL instead of UK.
