ShaDon Brown, the safeties coach at Colorado the past two seasons, is a name I'm hearing to be coming here in the same capacity. Though I'm not totally sure when that'll be announced. Colorado is announcing various staff holdovers today for Mel Tucker and Brown wasn't one named so I don't think I'm compromising anything. What's the connection?
- He coached for five years at Wofford. At Wofford he was working under Nate Woody. It was Woody and Satterfield who developed App State's unique twist on the 3-4 defense.
- Brown is a native of Danville, KY. He played at Campbellsville. He also coached at Boyle County HS and Rowan County HS in the early 2000s.
