Akoy Agau..........

Akoy was fool's good earlier this season. He's now a reminder of five years ago...

Don’t know how many minutes he played but it was twice as much as he should have. It felt like he had 4-5 turnovers, haven’t seen the stats.

He really puts in the effort, but he doesn't seem to have any lift. He's just not athletic enough for the ACC

Our top 2 bigs are good, and getting better. Watching Akoy struggle should send a message to them. They have to avoid foul trouble we are 2 deep at the 5. Akoy should be a victory cigar only.

It is his knees, definitely not his intelligence! Coach Mack has commented that they have cut back on his practice time because his knees are so bad. He gave us good minutes early in the season when he was fresher, obvious now that he doesn't have any legs.
I think they need to shut him down for a couple of weeks and try to get him healthier for Feb. He is hard to watch in his current condition.

This is another guy that believes his mission at UofL is to show everybody what a great scorer he is. I won't say selfish, but not understanding that he would shine more if he did whatever Coach Mack asked him to do to help the team win. The guys that are strugglin to score are trying to hard...to score.

You can tell he isn't healthy. He has zero lift when he jumps which points to really bad knees being the issue. Hope he can get healthy for his own sake. There is life after basketball.

Thanks for the info. You have solved the mystery for me from earlier in the thread.

Yeah, sorry to hear about the knees. Hopefully,he can give the team something when he's in.
