Former University of Louisville guard and current NBA rookie Terry Rozier has picked up his first major endorsement prior to training camp.

After a fast start in the preliminary stages of his NBA career, former Louisville Cardinal Terry Rozier continues to make major waves before the start of the Boston Celtics’ training camp.

It was announced on Monday that Rozier, the 16th selection in the 2015 NBA Draft, has signed an official contract to wear the Adidas Basketball brand.
RealGM had the initial report, which read as follows:

Adidas has signed endorsement deals with Kelly Oubre Jr. of the Washington Wizards and Terry Rozier of the Boston Celtics.

Oubre Jr. and Rozier join the ranks of an adidas basketball roster highlighted by NBA All-Stars James Harden, John Wall and Derrick Rose.

The rookies will be featured in a variety of upcoming adidas initiatives and will play a critical role in the development of basketball footwear and apparel.

“Kelly and Terry are outstanding athletes with incredible passion for the game and unique style off the court,” said Chris Grancio, adidas global basketball general manager. “We’re moving in a new direction, and adding the best young talent is essential to building a successful future. We’re excited to welcome them both to the adidas Basketball family.”

The decision may have been easy for “T-Roz” because the University of Louisville has had an apparel and equipment deal with Adidas. This includes the two seasons Terry Rozier played for the Cards.

I'm happy for Terry. He can afford to take care of his family now, and that's really cool. He was forced to grow up too quick, but he handled it well. Now he is successful before his NBA career officially starts. Too cool!!
