Have to say that I’ve never been a fan of the 15 team format. Like it even less with 18 teams. Why not play two play-in games on the Monday before the tourney with the 15-seed taking on #18 and #16 taking on #17?
Then instead of this weird 15 team bracket, just hold a 16 team tournament with 4 games on days 2, 3, and 4, then the semis on day 5 and finals on day 6.
Also not much of a fan of the double-byes with 16 teams, but I’ve grudgingly come to accept it…
What say all of you?
