ACC Tournament Seeding --- Relax Guys

Ok, win on saturday versus ranked #19 Notre Dame and make it past the Quarters of the ACCT and we'll still get the 2 seed in the NCAAT. Louisville is the final team in the entire country to lose to an unranked team...that is pretty amazing.

If Louisville wins on saturday and so do the other 10 sagarin favorites, then we get the 4 seed.

The only way we get the 3 seed is if Duke beats North Carolina....

However, look at this path for the 4th seed, I'm enjoying the looks of it so far.

Senior day, at home. I'm going to take Louisville in this one. That's the only reason why Wake won tonight plus the desperate measures. Month ago and Louisville would win.

Not overreacting in any way, shape, or form about this one. It happens. We just so happened to be the last team to go on the road in the conference and lose to an unranked foe. So be it. My question is this: how does a team, in a MAJOR conference, go about getting a week off in between conference games? Still blows my mind that WF had a week to prepare for this game, however it is no excuse. Just curious as to if anyone knew or had a reasonable guess as to why.

Not worried one bit about the result last night. WF had been right there all season long against solid teams and kept coming up just a wee bit short. They finally got over the hump last night and they needed the win in the worst way.

The ACC tourney is going to be wild but first thing first. Got to beat Notre Dame Saturday. W owe them.

I kinda think that path at the 4 seed is the easiest path on the brack tbh. I'd rather play UNC again than Virginia or Duke, IMO

I vote for the 4th seed and somehow avoid Virginia, Duke and ND...

Easier for us to control our own destiny and not have to rely on things like Duke beating UNC at chapel Hill and Miami beating FSU.

I think if we win on saturday and make it past the quarterfinals but lose in the semis, we are still a 2 in the NCAA. I would like to make it to the championship though because that pretty much locks us in a 2 seed imo.

Only winning in the quarters and losing in the semis could be iffy depending on how everyone else does in the other conferences.

Agree 100% on the 2 seed if you make it to the championship regardless of that outcome. Lose in the quarter or a big loss to NC I can see dropping a line though, of course depending on everyone else. Same thing and situation for us as well.

UofL will be fighting for a 2 seed. UofK is all but guaranteed a 2 seed at this point, and depending on what shakes out in the conference tournaments, the Cats could move up to a 1 seed. Not likely but possible.

I don't think we are in play for a 1 but that's jmo. Of course since the committee released its top 16 I feel like we have went up more than the human polls have shown. Kansas nova have locked up the ones and probably the PAC 12 winner. I guess it depends on how the remaining acc season shakes out and how much the committee drops Gonzaga

I could see us dropping a line to if we don't win the first SEC game in the tourn. Same with UL though. I think they have the 2 right now but lose that first ACC tourn game and it's down to a 3 possibly
