ACC 2015 season in review: Recaps of every team in 140 characters or less

The 2015 college football season is over, and for the 128 teams in the FBS, the focus has shifted to recruiting and the 2016 campaign.

Since there's not much time to take a deep dive back into the 2015 season, we're going to offer up Twitter-style recaps (140 characters max.) for each team in the Power Five conferences, plus the emerging AAC.

Up next is the ACC. Deshaun Watson, Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers carried the league's banner into the playoff and all the way to the fourth quarter of the title game before falling short, but there was so much more to recap and only 140 characters per team to do so.

Boston College: Defense was one of the best in the country, then Harbaugh poached DC Don Brown. Addazio needs dudes to step up on the field and sideline.

Clemson: From guts to glory to title-night heartbreak, it was one hell of a ride. Deshaun Watson and Wayne Gallman headline the revenge tour.

Duke: A triple-overtime thriller ended up being a moment of Duke history and a great way to forget all eight of those laterals given up to Miami.

Florida State: Dalvin Cook should have been in New York City as a Heisman Finalist. (Also Derwin James is a terrifying defender and just the best).

Georgia Tech: Limited with its options (get it?) in the backfield with Justin Thomas, GT's offense wasn't ready to score as much as it needed to in 2015.

Louisville: Louisville's year rolled with frosh QB Lamar Jackson's development, and if the bowl game is any indication he's quite comfortable now.

Miami: No one liked the way it ended for Al Golden, but a program that needed a break got one with the timely arrival of Mark Richt.

North Carolina: UNC made history with 11 wins and ACC title contention. Hopes are high, recruiting is good, but let us never mention that bowl game again.

NC State: Losing RBs Shad and Dayes really hindered what NC State could have been this season, at least on offense. New OC, microscope on the HC now.

Pittsburgh: Conner went down, but Pat Narduzzi found game-ready rookies (ACC Off and Def Freshman of the Year) and excitement heading into 2016.

Syracuse: You can't look back, Cuse. You can only look forward. Dino Babers + better injury luck = Orange are bowling in 2016. Lock it up.

Virginia: Mike London's exit was presumed. Bronco Mendenhall's arrival raised eyebrows. Fascinating offseason ahead in Charlottesville as UVA rebuilds.

Virginia Tech: Not enough characters to compliment VT's handling of the Frank Beamer-Justin Fuente transition. Lunch box stays with Bud, right?

Wake Forest: The 3-0 win against Boston College was a masterpiece, but Wake Forest fans need more scoring from the Clawfense.
