We are a few weeks out from the KY Derby, so I wanted to start a thread for all of the horse racing fans. It certainly is my favorite weekend of the year and it’s an important week for the community, so I felt it was worth discussing.
This is definitely one of the most “wide open” Derby’s there has been in a while. There truly isn’t one “buzz horse” with the most storylines going into this year. That makes it more fun and interesting imo.
I’m also a big fan of the undercard races on the days of the Oaks and Derby. I enjoy seeing a bunch of the top horses from around the country competing against each other. It’s a little too far out to look at “probable” fields for these undercard races, but they always attract good horses which make for fun races.
