I posting on both threads so here I go again but Teske should have fouled out by now. The refs are ignoring his fouls, personally I like him but he is getting away with stuff.
I posted this on the other thread but here I go again. Great win really impressive best defense we have played all year. I’m Happy.
We past a big test tonight. We won on the big stage.
We proved we can play hard defense for 40 minutes.
Nwora is clearly the player of the year.
Enoch, Sutton, and Enoch are our centerpieces right now. Those guys are as good as any 3 in the nation. Hard workers wit good attitudes.
Only negative? Guard play is still lacking
12-36 FG and 2-12 3PT the last 2 games. Perry, McMahon, Fresh, and DJ just aren’t playing well. But, it’s November and by March they’ll have played against the toughest conference in the land. But they have to play better for us to go from great team to championship team.

Mack just said we finally played a complete defensive game. 38.5 minutes
I will say this, Michigan has the feel of those UConn teams that won titles in 2011 and 2014. Won and early season tournament. Small guards.
I just see that as a team to watch in March. Maybe they won’t be a 1 or 2 seed? But that’s a dang good team, one that wins in the tournament.

Michigan is rock solid. They might be a tad short on depth. Not sure if they have an injury or one or two guys they can develop. They will be a in the hunt in March. Travel might have taken a little out of them, but they were never really threatening tonight.
Cards are going to be tough when Enoch brings it like he did tonight. Nwora is going to be there 98-100% of the time, Enoch is the guy that is susceptible to off nights because he can't pass it to himself, they gotta get it to him. Tonight they did.
Williamson's PT is going to rise as the season progresses, he has too much talent to limit.
Sutton/Perry/Williams have some intangibles. They smother opponents on D. Williams not afraid to do some dirty work.

That was annoying. I bet there were 8-10 possessions before the TV score graphic was fixed. ESPN continues to erode.
Mack said the thing he likes about Sutton is that he will do what he thinks the team needs. I think that was defense and rebounding. He knows the team doesn’t need him scoring with guys like Nwora and McMahon. Tonight Enoch was a solid offensive contributor.
