The crowd is not gone and will be back. The effort was there because of the crowd.
The place was dying for anything positive.
The crowd is gone and will be hard to get back
And that’s on 16.9 K
Kelsey got a lot of hoeing to do with this bunch
I just keep remembering last year’s game at Pitt. Cards were in control early. Opening drive TD, three and out by Pitt, and Cards are driving to go up 14-0. Then they turned it over and completely lost their focus. Pitt tied it up and end up winning easily. Stanford is not as good as last year’s Pitt team but the game still scares me.
At least the crowd won’t be a factor.
I just checked and I’m getting the ACCN tonight on Spectrum in North Carolina (coastal region). How can I watch the game this weekend? It doesn’t look like ACCN has its own app but need to subscribe to another streaming service. I have Spectrum and they are in a dispute with Disney which I think carries ACCN. It’s been a challenge this year trying to watch games!
After the last few years I'll take every easy win we can get..A loss is a loss but hopefully we have learned more from the a** kicking than we would from a closer game. I would rather the games to be competitive and not easy.
I wasn't saying I had an optimistic explanation for the UT game. The point of my post was that we don't know which point of view is true yet and both positive and negative outlooks should be tempered. You mean fans overreacting to the Tennessee curb stomping? How do you know they're overreacting when we have become accustomed to getting curb stomped? You simply wanna believe that Saturday's game had a more optimistic explanation. And you don't know that anymore than I do.
I replied about meaningless blowouts because that's always been an illusion of how good you are.

a small, showy trinket or decoration.
"clutch bags embellished with glittering baubles"
Why not?I don’t see them as a 1 hit wonder being the fact they haven’t beaten anyone. Give them credit for going undefeated so far but if they get trucked, like expected, by OSU then no way they should be even near the playoffs imo.
Especially when the coach gets a better job which could be next season. IU will be back to their normal position in the Big 10. But if he sticks around, they will have a chance to build something. Who really believes he won't be somewhere like FSU or Florida in the next few years?HS players don’t have near the leverage they used to.
As far as IU, they have to prove they aren’t a one hit wonder. And as we have learned, that is going to be a steep hill to continue this year’s kind of success.
Why are you leaving out the other opposite example I made? You know what I wrote was not about what makes me optimistic, but what can and cannot make all fans think one way or another.Which is fool's gold. If that makes you optimistic, you like shiny baubles...
not going to happen, will go down to the wire and OSU will start to tighten up under the pressure of possibility losing the game.No way Indiana gets in the playoffs after they get blown out at OSU…nor do they deserve to. They will fall in place of a SEC team and rightfully so.
