There's just all sorts of issues with this article.

Their grades?
Shaheen Holloway - A
Chris Jans - A
Sean Miller - A
Thad Matta - A-
Todd Golden - B+
Jerome Tang - A-
Mike White - A-
Kenny Payne - B
Kevin Willard - B
Kyle Neptune - B
Dennis Gates - B-
Matt McMahon - C+
Lamont Paris - C
Archie Miller - A
Steve Prohm - A
Frank Martin - A-

He seems to base it on the idea that Louisville is too big of a brand to hire a coach with no experience. Even though Payne is arguably the most qualified and accomplished assistant coach in the game. I get that some of the guys that took smaller were head coaches before - but who knew who Shaheen Holloway was 3 months ago? UGA hiring Mike White is a better hire than Louisville hiring Kenny Payne? Mike White couldn't win at Florida but he's gonna win at Georgia? A job worse in every imaginable way? Thad Matta's a good hire for Butler - because its Butler. I just have a real issue with the guys he gave better grades than Payne. I think one could argue that other than Sean Miller - it was the best hire of the off season.
