Angels rookie Detmers throws no-hitter vs. Rays
Reid Detmers pitched a no-hitter for the Angels on Tuesday night against the Rays, becoming the youngest pitcher to throw one since 2006.
The 2020 covid cancelation of the college baseball season will haunt Cards fans at least until we win the world series. That team was absolutely loaded with Reid Detmers and Bobby Miller dominating Friday and Saturday.
The lineup with Henry Davis and Alex Binelas leading the way. I was so pumped that season the cancelation of the season bothered me as much as March Madness being canceled as the Jordan Nwora led Cards were a final 4 threat.
The following year, 2021, both teams failed to make the NCAA tournament.
