Good pitching, pathetic offense, bats chasing to many balls up in the count! Terrible base coaching/running! Get it together for the next game cards

Hate to say it, but this looked like the same team that showed up at the Big East Conference Tournament!!!
gross offensive game by the cards. Not much focus at the plate tonight. I wonder if playing IU was good for us from a mental stand point. IU handed the big stage better than the cards did.
4 hits and a handful of hard hit balls. Louisville did get into a lot of deep counts but didn't win many of those battles vs Denato. Louisville was only down 2-0 but it felt more like 6-0.
Green struggled again in his 4th straight postseason start. His postseason ERA is over 6.00 and he has allowed a run in the first inning in each of those 4 starts. Louisville won 2 of those 4 games. The bullpen was pretty much lights out and overall the pitching was fine like usual and will be the entire tournament. Limiting IU to 2 runs is a special feat.
It's all on the offense to score to keep Louisville alive from the next game all the way to the final game. Tonight, in the 9th, was our first extra base hit since the regional championship vs OK ST. and the cards have not scored since the 2nd inning vs Vandy in game 2 of the Super Regionals and a total of 7 runs the last 3 games.
