Now that the Timberwolves have crafted Carl Anthony Townes, what is Gorgui's future with the team? Will he play backup? Or will they trade him?

Looks like my theory was right. I don't even know why you try to deny it.Rye has to rationalize the overwhelming dislike for the NBA around these parts somehow. So he chooses the LPT theory
Reason #114 I love the NBA... A OAD kid from LPT poses a risk to Gorgui Dieng.
He hasn't been screwed - it's part of the rookie payscale. 2 year contract + 2 year team option. He'll be making $6-$8 million after his rookie contract expires. It's a unfair weird business if you watched Gorgi play last year he was one of the best players on that squad and to be paid at the low end he has been screwed.
I think I said "reason #114". Did you miss the first 113 in the other thread?Looks like my theory was right. I don't even know why you try to deny it.
It's either a reason you dislike the NBA, or it isn't. Make up your mind and post consistently.I think I said "reason #114". Did you miss the first 113 in the other thread?
We can go back to that thread if you want, but I thought you were tired of the debate.
Most of my posts are pretty consistent. They're just not always READ consistently. It's either a reason you dislike the NBA, or it isn't. Make up your mind and post consistently.
The constant spin is just undebatable, no matter what the topic is. Call it "hate", call it "dislike", call it "pity", call it "deer nuts", it doesn't matter what verb I used to describe your feeling towards UK. It is just another tactic to deflect. Something could be 95% accurate and you'll take that 5% and run with it.Most of my posts are pretty consistent. They're just not always READ consistently.
You said above that "your theory was right", referencing the other thread. And here's your quote from the other thread...
"There seems to be a lot of hate for the NBA farm team down the road, which is causing a lot of hate for the NBA in general."
First of all, you have to prove that true hate is at the root of the issue for most people. I've said many times that I don't hate anyone or anything. While many take it too seriously, this is recreation. And you're linking cause and effect to explain anti-NBA sentiment. "Reason #114" says that there are many explanations. You're picking one out of context. Weak reasoning on your part.
Like I said, we can get into more NBA back-and-forth on the other thread. Bring your big-boy pants...
The players UK get are great players before they get there. I don't think its so muck UK develope players. Not all of them turn out to be stars or even have long careers. And you're willing to ignore 113 out of 114 other points to make the one you're trying to make. That's myopic.
(BTW and for the record, I didn't say there were only 114...)
I don't think it's anyway the wolves trade Dieng, especially when he's still on his rookie contract.
Gorgui led Minnesota in win shares and was 2nd in PER.7 and 7 = MVP?
If you had read my post, you probably would have been able to answer your own question.....just the 7 and 7 numbers J-Rye....kinda made it a little difficult to associate that with MVP status.
Dieng has started 64 games and averaged 7 points / 7 boards in 22 minutes per game for his 2 year career.
Dieng was Minnesota's most valuable player last year.
