Now, let’s get back to building this team out!! Seems like we’ve hit a wall. Maybe it’s the calm before the storm, maybe it’s waiting on certain players to make a decision, or, maybe we (I) just need to be patient and trust the process and trust that CPK will get ‘er done. Cards have now clinched not only a bid to the ACC Tourney, but we are now no worse than the 11 seed. At 13-11, we are currently tied with Virginia Tech in 7th and with a great finish against UNC and Notre Dame, the Cards could move into a top 4 seed by the start of the tourney.
Davis has really been struggling for the Pirates. The #1 overall pick. Just shows how hard the game of baseball is. I believe the Pirates may consider moving him away from catching.
Tyler Fitzgerald of the Giants is getting more and more starts. Brandon McKay has been pitching well and may be called up by the Rays.
Louisville is being represented well in the big leagues showing why Coach McDonnell was so successful all those years.
