WV Governor Taking Legal Action Against NCAA Selection Committee

If you take the time to examine TX’s 11-2 OOC schedule, you will see the level of competition was unworthy of any serious consideration, particularly that most were on their home floor.

Judging the ACC by two NCAA tournament games is a mistake. In one case, Clemson obviously had a major problem in the first half scoring, in fact, Hunter was scoreless until 10 minutes were left in the 2nd half. I am convinced that UL was physically worn out over the last 7 games. Chucky and Edwards are warriors, but exhausted as they were getting very little support from the rest of the team.
According to ESPN, Texas' non-conference strength of schedule was 82nd out of 360+ teams. Sure, not great, but not "unworthy of any serious consideration." I'm sure when Texas agreed to play NC State on the road and Syracuse on a neutral court, they didn't plan for the two to have such bad seasons.

Also, I'm not sure where you're interpreting what I wrote as me judging the ACC in the tournament. I didn't say a word about the ACC tournament performance.

I was pointing out that even though Texas was 6-12 in conference, they did beat two ACC schools as part of their non-conference schedule. Saying that Texas was an "absolute joke" to be in the tournament, which was the argument being made in the post I responded to, is a bad argument. Texas had 7 Quad 1 wins, no Quad 3 or 4 losses, and beat 5 ranked teams. UNC had 1 Quad 1 win, and 1 win over a ranked team. If UNC deserves to be in the tournament, then Texas does too, regardless of the outcome of the games within the tournament.
