Watching this game against Virginia is like watching the old 3rd place game in the final 4. It means nothing and it's showing at least with the Cards. The guys are not focused at the plate. Everyone's trying to hit a home run. And now the coach is leaving Harrington out to dry. He should have pulled him and brought in Funk after the first three runs was scored. You know he would if this was a chance to move on to the next round.
Don't know what it is with the Cards and ACC postseason play but in two years now they look nothing like the team they were in the regular season. Once Clemson beat Wake this morning I just wasn't all that anxious to watch this worthless game tonight. I now know why. Hopefully this disaster tonight doesn't linger.
And I know, the game is not over, but this is baseball, and a 7 run inning in the 5th inning is like being up 42-7 at halftime of a football game.
