The UofL fall women's sports schedule begins this evening with UofL women's soccer travelling to Coral Gables to face ACC foe Miami.
The contest is scheduled for the ACC Network Extra and a 7 p.m. start time.
Miami is 0-1, losing to Clemson on Saturday 4-0. The Canes were out-shot in the match 20-2.
Louisville is led by All-ACC honorees Emina Ekic and Gabby Kouzelos. Ekic, a hard-charging midfielder is always a scoring threat for Louisville, had five winning goals for the Cards last year and started all 20 matches last season. The senior is a product of Louisville Manual High School
Kouzelos is arguably the best goalkeeper in the ACC. She had 10 shutouts last season and posted a 0.87 goals against average. Kouzelos is also a senior and has started in goalkeep for the last three years.
Louisville defeated Miami 1-0 last year in Coral Gables, Ekic getting the lone score 12 minutes into action.
The Cards will travel to Florida State next, for a Sunday match-up against the Seminoles and then open the 2020 home slate against Syracuse on Thursday, Oct 1st.
