The University of Louisville recently received one of its largest grants for medical research in the school's 219-year history, a $13.8 million award from the National Institutes of Health to study a promising new type of adult cardiac stem cell that has potential to treat heart failure.
Is this grant monetarily greater than other universities? Did anyone at UofL know anyone at NIH which swayed the decision? Who was involved at UofL is achieving this grant? How much does this person get paid and what perks do they have in their contract? I mean to get this sort of money surely something illicit must be going on behind the scenes. Right?
