Who is the homer Georgia Tech Color guy on TV?

Dave Odem. I believe he use to coach at Wake Forrest. I was wondering if anyone else thought this guy was bias toward GT. Hope he never calls another Louisville game. Terrible announcer.
You'd think he was Georgia Tech's AD....you can hear him groan when Louisville hits a shot and groan when Tech turns it over or misses a shot. "Let's set it up, boys" when Tech is on offense. I guess he is still stinging from those losses Pitino gave him in the NCAAs back in the Kentucky days. Terrible.
That statement of"i don't know what could have happened to adel other than he got his feelings hurt for getting his shot blocked" was one of the worst i have heard.
"I dont know what happened other than his feelings got hurt." How pathetic is it for a guy to say that about someone being on the ground injured. Just assuming nothing actually happened to him.
Definitely a no class comment. I liked how even after seeing the replay a few times he still tried to shrug it off as a minor glancing blow instead of just admitting that Adel gor kneed hard in the head while already down on the floor.

Same here. I laugh and let it go. Odom wasn't all that great at coaching 20+ years ago, and his announcing skills are pathetic. Just laugh at him and let it go is my best advice.
His commentary was a full on suck fest. Awful, top to bottom.

We did manage to make an All American out of Lammers, and our 10-20 from the foul line did not deserve any positive comments. We shot a higher percentage from the three than from the line.
That " feelings hurt " statement was deplorable. That knee to the head could have been very serious.

Odom is just getting old on top of being an old school ACC honk. Idiotic to not look at the replay and realize that Deng may have gotten a concussion.

Our "leeway" is infinitesimal in this Southern-dominated, pretentious conference, lol. They have an inbuilt inferiority complex in the first place, particularly hilarious when they try and apply any comparison to the Big East we were in.
We enter the conference and 3 primary things happened: The football profile is raised to twice what it was (thanks be to Clemson and FSU, by all means) and suddenly they have the greatest basketball and baseball conferences ever.
But ACC xenophobia shows in spades. We see resentment on a regular basis towards Big East teams who parachuted in, and in particular against us. The bad mouthing of Pitino and BobbyP stays at the frantic college-age pre-adolescent fringe of sex jokes and easy dismissal. Their gratitude phase has long been over. Now it will be the opposite.
Labeling the conference as anything but cooperative is the proper look. They can't get over their inferior, worst of the hypocritical Bible Belt philosophies. I'm not much of a fan of many of the teams in our conference. FSU, I tend to like. maybe Miami.
