What's ahead for this Cards team.

Okay boys and girls, I'm here to tell you all by March Louisville should not only be a tournament team, but a high seeded team.

So far, through six conferences games, the Cards have already played four of the top teams in the conference, winning three of them. The remaining 14 conference games are not so daunting a task to win.

Tell me how many of these games would the Cards be the underdog and where do you see a likely defeat?

So there you have it. How many wins will Louisville end up with? Playing like they are and no more serious injuries, I forsee something like 23 and 8.

The three losses to SMU, NC State and Pitt. If there's a 4th loss I would see it being Wake or ND.

So 22 or 23 wins would mean no bubble and probably a #5 or #6 seed.

Then there's the conference tournament which I believe is something Kelsey would thrive in. A run to the title game with Duke could move the Cards up to a #4 seed.

This Louisville team has proven to me even limited with injuries, that they are a very good team and due to a historic bad ACC conference, will take full advantage. Coach Kelsey will be ACC coach of the year and a candidate for national coach of the year.

i've already called acc final, sweet 16 at minimum and thinking elite 8 barring injuries. 5 seed at worst and 2nd weekend of tourney for sure

20 wins plus a run to ACC title game and a 6 seed in Tourney seems possible to me.

If we hit a cold-shooting stretch, we could lose more. Right now we are playing very well. I just wish CPK had a little longer bench. I think we sneak in to the tournament and win one game.

We're already a cold shooting team and we're winning anyway. If it takes sneeking into the tournament that means the Cards will lose 6 or more games against that schedule.

I just don't see it. ACC teams that are usually good like Virginia, NC State, Virginia Tech, Miami, and Syracuse are all very bad and could all end up with losing records.

If the Cards continue to play at least as good as they have been so far, they're not sneeking into anything. But I think they're only going to improve as Scott, Troure and Rooths improve.

Agree with "TheRealVille" on the development / improved play of Scott, Traore, and Rooths. All 3 should only dunk the ball. No other shots. Also, hoping Waterman's thumb continues to heal. Would like to see him rest it if we don't need him for a win.

Well, if we lose 5 more games against this schedule, there will be bad losses. More than half of those games will be against teams not making the tournament, maybe even the post season.

Time to end another losing streak to an ACC opponent. Syracuse has won the last 4 games in the series. CPK for Coach of the Year!

My concern is the depth and fatigue. Can these guys stay healthy? Can their legs hold out? Chucky plays a lot of minutes - can his body and mind weather the storm. It is a lot to ask.

Especially with Hepburn. He's playing a ton of minutes and he plays so hard. What we need is some easy 20 point wins to rest Chucky. However, even in a weak ACC, this team isn't going to blow teams out of the gym.

Edwards is the only real answer at backing up the point guard and hopefully he improves and can get Chucky the rest he needs. I think he can and will. The first thing I noticed about this group is their ability to peservere and adapt to the teams they're playing. The basketball IQ is reminiscent of the 2013 team.

So when Hepburn has 4 fouls with 12 minutes to go, Edwards can adapt his game to being the distributor and put aside his scoring goals.

During this streak it looks like most everyone has improved since the Bahamas. Great coaching and great player dedication.
