in the NCAAT? I mean how far would the Cards have to advance for you to be happy/relatively happy with the season?
I'm not sure if it's realistic or not, but I hope for the 4 or 5 seed in UK's bracket. That would give the Cards a chance to end UK's season in the sweet sixteen IF the Cards could get there. That would mean a trip out to Portland if it happens because UK will be playing in Louisville for their first 2 games.Originally posted by ACCCard:
Eilte Eight playing for FF. My expectation hasn't wavered. UK and UConn unranked last year. Dream big! They did!
That's what I'm talking about.Originally posted by ACCCard:

Dream big for sure but last year was anomaly.Originally posted by ACCCard:

I agree with this. If the Cards lose either the first or second game- well especially the first- I'd be very disappointed. I know this team has inconsistencies and weaknesses but I'm hoping for at least a Sweet 16 appearance. Advancing after that would make me really happy with this team.Originally posted by LouisvilleKid79:
I am hoping for a sweet 16 appearance. Anything beyond that would be great.
Just out of curiosity, why would being the 4 in the MW (hypothetically) mean UL goes to Portland?Originally posted by Cue Card:

We're due to beat them. Why not be the team to knock them from perfection?
That's where Lundardi had the Cards guessed to go. It doesn't matter now regardless. UK is in the Midwest, and the Cards are in the East bracket with rounds 2 and 3 in Seattle. The only chance those two teams meet this year is in the final 4. UK should get there with few problems. I mean the 2 seed they got is a team they've already beat by 32 points. UofL on the other hand got what I think is a fairly tough draw with a possible 3rd round match up against a Northern Iowa team that is little known but legit and that's assuming the Cards can get past one of the tallest teams in the country in UC Irvine with how poorly the Cardinals bigs have played all season long.Originally posted by johnnyrockets:

Yep. Every fiber of my being wishes cancer would catch cancer and lose the battle with cancer so we could be rid of that horrid disease once and for all. I've lost way too many family members and friends to that horrible disease in my lifetime. Maybe 1 day we'll be rid of it forever. I take it by those words you are a cancer survivor Rod. God bless and I am glad you're doing better.Originally posted by rod_card:
I like our draw.
I'll be happy with 2 wins and a Sweet 16.
Another win would be fantasy and a FF unbelievable.
Season-long, we waited for the 5 spot to develop.
We waited for the bench to develop.
Neither of those things happened and we know what happened to our starting PG.
I love Trez and he was a possible lottery pick and the end of 2014. Now he was a 2nd team all-conference player?
With all that's happened, Sweet 16 and I'll be happy.
And even if it isn't that far, I'll still be happy.
Cancer sucks.
Losing at basketball isn't fun, but it doesn't suck like that.
