In 2022 they got smoked by Iowa after a bye week. In 2021, they smoked a then highly ranked Iowa team after the bye. Results are inconclusive.

5-4 after an in-season bye week. 5-3 if you decide to throw out the COVID season, which wasn’t scheduled to have any bye weeks.

2017: Won vs Minnesota

2020: Lost vs Northwestern (after game at Wisconsin was cancelled due to COVID)
