What has happened to Pitt?

I still think of Pitt as an elite program, but maybe we shouldn't. One trip past the NCAA opening weekend since 2008? That's not good.

Pitt was ranked in the top 10 at some point in each season from 2001-02 to 2011-12.

Since the upset loss to Butler in the second round of the 2011 tourney, Pitt has just 1 NCAA win.

No wonder Jamie Dixon is kind of on the hot seat.
